Rabies vaccine: necessary or healthy?
The truth is that once a dog or cat has received two rabies vaccines, 99% are immune for life. Additional vaccines are not only not necessary but potentially harmful.
Options to vaccinating:
1 – Package inserts for vaccines state that RV should only be administered to healthy animals.

Have your vet write out a “gym note” in lieu of vaccinating. Many states and Canada now support this option.

2 – Titer your animal instead. Have your vet run a blood test to show immunity from previous vaccines. Price shop first!

3 – Use your voice and your dollars to help change laws. Protect animal health by limiting vaccines to only what’s necessary for protection.
